After years of thinking and living one must realize a few things:
1. You enter the world alone and you exit alone.
2. If you have to choose between friends and family, choose wisely, or better yet, do not choose at all.
3. Once you make a decision and are mistaken, there should be a time to apologize, so do it quick,
4. Do not expect much from people, expecting too much is bad for you, but on the other hand, give as much as you possibly can.
5. Think, but act; say, but think; love.
6. Unwise is to live without living fully.
7. Humans are hard to understand, try to understand yourself first.
8. Tolerance is the basis of any kind of relationship.

Be angry, but pardon

There are always times when we get angry with the people that we love, it just happens, sometimes there are things we can do to prevent this, but when we can't we have to be able to say "I am sorry" and move forward, things will surely change a bit, but with time and patience they might get back to normal and if you put your heart into it, everything will be ok.

Just be sure not to be proud and selfish, pardoning is a part of life and asking for pardon too, don't be afraid, it is such a noble act that you will be amazed at how good it feels after.

On going

Life is full of ups and downs, life is a somewhat controversy of different things that can be really good or really bad, it all depends on the general view of things you have of the results from your every day hassle.

Are you willing to continue or do you have to give everything up to be happy, I recently received an e-mail where someone who had many material things (or too many I should say) gave everything up to be a Buddhist and live on celibacy, and he has been named the happiest man on earth. How does that contrast with the view you have of happiness?

I personally think giving everything up is not really the idea, I think it is worth giving up somethings and some time to get what you want, but too much is always too much. Of anything.
