Time passes

It passes by and there is no way to stop it. Every moment is as short and sweet or as long and hard as you let it be. Can you trust yourself the responsibility of caring for your own health and nurturing? Who else can give you that which is so needed in your daily routine? One can be a lot of things, but the most important is to be the owner of thy own decisions and to respect and care for thy body.

Pressure

Nowadays we all have pressure coming in from different settings and from different groups. Mostly we get pressure because we want something to happen and the desire turns us into anxious beings. There are many ways to handle pressure some more effective than others but it all comes down to which one is better for you. Today
I am going to recommend three simple strategies that will help you release some of the pressure that has been accumulating through various days, weeks or years.

First of I want to recommend that you read my recent comment about anguish, do not let yourself fall into it, since the pressure while only become greater and more difficult to manage.

Now back to managing pressure. I consider pressure a positive impulse and driving force if it is well managed, otherwise it will be just a lot of different feelings waiting to explode. My first recommendation is to follow a mind setting strategy that is composed of three easy tasks:

1. Take a step back, and consider what you are feeling, what is going on that makes you feel this pressure? Is it because of economic reasons? Job projects that need attending? A loved one that is having health problems? Some of your colleagues/friends/roommates that are giving you a hard time? Once you have determined what is
not working out in the way you plan or need, it is time to go a step further.

2. Build a plan, what am I talking about? a plan to take small baby steps into improving that pressure that has you gripped hard on the neck. Write the actions down, explode the plan into teeny weeny actions so they can be easily performed and will not take you a lot of time to complete. Be very explicit and most of all try
to be concise. Remember that in this moment the pressure you are feeling may seem like a monstruous thing to handle, but if you write down too many steps, what will most likely happen is that you will not follow them thoroughly. Try to put down an action plan that will consist of four or five actions whenever possible.

3. Take action, as simple as it sounds that is basically what you need to do, you have set up your plan, you know what you have to do, now is the time to do it. If you have read or heard about Getting Things Done, a book by David Allen, you will notice that this strategy uses a similar approach. For more on GTD go to David Allen’s web site or to Merlin Man's 43folders,he has a very nice blog on productivity that can be a good guide to more than just handling pressure.

The second strategy will be posted soon so try working out on this one for now.

The Rules of be-living

Two whole months, that's how much I was away, that is surely no way to keep an audience motivated. My only excuses, I doubt that you will accept them, were that I had my hard disk fail and that I changed jobs so I had little time for myself and for the blog. With that out of the way I will get back to my original purpose, to help my readers be-live.

4. Smile like you feel it

Have you ever seen someone smile like they were getting paid to do it and felt like they
were underpaid? I have seen this many times, and my reaction is always the same:
If you are going to smile, feel it inside you, show those inner feelings and express all that love
and all the peace that is going on inside yourself.

The first person that will be benefited from a wholehearted smile is yourself, and I am positively aware of the reactions of others when they see a real smile. Remember that everyone can spot a fake smile, so why fake it?

When in doubt, do

Everybody has had times of reflection, a moment to pause and think back about the good and the bad and the ugly. Everyone has had that sort of reflection, but how many take a short moment to dedicate it to the future? It is pretty simple actually, it is just a matter of thinking what others want from you, and what you want from yourself. When this sort of ideas come into mind, you should try to put yourself in a positive state first, reflect upon those whom you love, the ones that are far from you, physically or emotionally. What kind of words do you think they might need today, what kind of words do you need today?

If we can set apart a few minutes of our daily chores to think about this small but very important things, your life will start balancing out and a more positive state of be-living will come into place. Remember that those that most need help are the ones that more desperately seem to avoid it.

The Rules of be-living

Here goes my motivational post for today:

3. Recover your tranquility

After you have suffered a disgust you can let it control your mind, your soul and the actions that come after the event. It is your decision to have a better outcome by getting back your equilibrium and positive mental disposition thus being constructive instead of destructive.

Having positive and optimistic thoughts will build a pleasant life.

The Rules of be-living

As promised, there will be a daily motivational post, here's today's message:

2. Stay away from anguish!

Problems will arise, at work at home, at the park, in many places.
It depends upon how you face them, that they will either dominate you, or you will be in control of them.
Elude work excess, the need to maintain an extremely fast pace in your daily chores and the lack of adequate rest.
If something doesn't turn out right, forget about bringing up bad thoughts or words or to be aggressive. Take it easy, for your serenity is the fountain of health and efficiency.

"The most certain trait of wisdom is constant serenity"
Montaigne.

Failure?

Today was one of those days when so many things happened, a friend of a relative died in a motorcycle accident, after having to suffer for many hours in a hospital and not receiving the proper attention that she needed. Then a co-worker was being sexually harrassed by her boss and she called me at the brink of tears, I almost didn't know what to do, fortunately she will be relocated to another place and hopefully the guy can be charged later on, but that is another story.

So I began to think about failure, some people never fail in their whole lives, or at least they seem no to fail, they seem perfect, and act perfect. While others seem to fail repeatedly and never learn from their previous mistakes or just keep making new ones as life just passes them by. I, for one, have not been as lucky to have been born perfect, and have not driven myself crazy to achieve it, but I have tried to make every mistake count in building my very-much- less-than-perfect self to learn and try to make fewer errors and project into the future what will be the outcome of the things I do before I do them.

In what moment do we know that we have failed or earned a victory? It could be at the end of your life, when it would be extremely late, or at the end of each day, or every few hours. It really doesn't matter how you keep your accountings in this, what really matters is that at the end of the day you feel that you are learning to be a better human being by helping yourself develop new skills in the never ending story of progress. So even if you may have failed once, twice or many times, the next time that you will embark into something new, you better put your heart into it, start planning ahead, and try to think how important it is to do things right the first time they come.

The first step to really get things done well is by be-living in yourself, knowing that you can do everything you set your mind to in the best possible way.

Once

How many times can you end up doing a wrong thing?
Is it enough to do it once, twice maybe three times?
Should you be allowed to err even once?
No, we are not perfect although many strive towards perfectionism. We are just simple human beings, but everything that we put our efforts in and our passion to; has to be done well the first time.

Once is all we have to make the best out of ourselves, one life, one alternative to choose from, one way to do things.

Even so, human beings are difficult, they, or I should say we, have the opportunity to think and thus stray from the correct path, but the more we practice in the choosing of our own decisions, the better we can get to lean towards the path that can lead us to a more forgiving, more tolerant way of be-living.

The Rules of be-living

Every day has a new meaning, so my purpose as of today is to write a small motivational message from now on. Here is the first:

1. You can if you be-live you can
Grow confidence in yourself
You are capable of much more of what you imagine
You are not omnipotent
But with your reasonable effort
you will accomplish very difficult tasks.
Face your problems with serenity
and straightforwardness, always expecting
results in your favor

Start be-living

I just finished a post, it felt like ramble a rant. Maybe it was, but I needed to write it, had to put it up and get it over with. Now I want to write something:

Everyone says life is short, why doesn't anyone stop saying and start doing?

If people started doing more things, with real value, the world would be a better place, yeah yeah all that stuff everyone keeps repeating over and over again. DO them. Hug harder, kiss longer and with more passion, give flowers, listen to what others say, but keep your mind blank while doing so, concentrate on the other person, understand what they are saying. Love thy brother, but express your love, or your hate for that matter. Take your significant other to the movies, to a walk in the park, to a sunset viewing. Stop thinking about when it should happen, don't wait until they are dead and you can't do a thing about it, do it now. That's when you start be-live.

Blogging, writing, reaching out. Whatever

Blogging, writing, reaching out. Whatever

If you ever want to feel like you need to do something, that is when you really feel alive.
That is what and why I am writing today, not to make money, not to make friends, to feel like Iam useful in more than people think, but most of all to know that I am better at doing and building things that I would normally expect.

I have thought about blogging for many a time, but there is always someone that knows more, someone that has already done what I have been thinking about writing. So this time I just wanted to write for myself. This time I did not care about writing for others amusement, just to understand that even though life has given me a great amount of nice things and people, I just want to end my life. There are many reasons why this comes as a conclusion, not necessarily that it might come out as happening, but I need to DO things, to feel needed, special, as so many others do.

For now, my only advice is to keep things up, to maintain interest in something specific, something that pulls up a passion, and exploit it, every day, every minute. But do it now. Just start be-living.
